Remember......sleeping is just as important as studying.

It is that time of the school year again. Sleeplessness, procrastination, and coffee consumption has never been higher any other time. All week, students are cramming information into their brains while they should really be asleep. What they don't realize that getting a good 6 hrs on that mattress is what they really need. People will become irritable and impatient, all because they think that the world is going to collapse if they don't study religiously for the next 4 days straight. STUDENTS, YOU DON'T NEED TO PUNISH YOUR BRAIN AND BODY LIKE THAT. The more time you spend sleeping on your mattress, the more information your brain is capable of retaining. Plus, you don't really have to study for hours on end like a maniac. You can study in chunks of an hour at a time with small breaks in between. Research has found that you learn more that way. If you're trying to squeeze and entire semester of content in your brain, that's the best way to go. You DO need to sleep. Your brain will not function the way it should during exams if you don't. If you don't get sufficient rest, all your brain is going to do during exams is forget what you studied and want to shut down.
