Spreading Love Among Our Communities

As many of you may know, here in Portland one of the biggest issues our communities face is homelessness. Leaving all the "druggies" aside and all the unfortunate situations, one of the most important things we need to do is realize that just like us, they are humans too. We all face our own battles, and we all approach them differently. Across all the Portland-Metro area communities, we need to start approaching this topic differently. Instead of just staring at the homeless in this cold weather, try and ask if they need anything. Whether it be clothing, food or any other necessity, they will appreciate it to the fullest extent. There are tons of ways to donate and provide help to those in need. Many of them are right in your face and you don't even know it. For the past 20 years, our family has been blessed to receive the support of our surrounding communities. Although we will never be able to repay the kindnesses shared, we warmheartedly believe that there is never enough we can do. As a gesture of appreciation, we believe in giving back and reaching out to those in need. In order to do so, we've partnered up with Relief Bed to make sure we can give back in the fullest of extents. The owner and creator of Relief Bed, Scott Smalling, has crafted a genuine way of giving back to our communities. With the purchase of any Relief Bed you will donate a fold-able, portable, supportive foam mattress to those in need. It comes wrapped in hydrophobic fibers that don't allow water to get in the mattress. Along with it's state of the art comfort foam, it includes an integrated pillow that allows for more support. Even if you don't want to purchase a mattress for yourself, you still have the option to purchase and donate a Relief Bed for anyone in need. You can do that here in-store or online on either MattressShowcase.Bargains, or Reliefbed.com. So join us. Together we can better our communities, spread love, and change the world one bed at a time.
